Meet the Senatus Family

Sacionne Senatus was born and raised in the village of Labodrie, Haiti. As a native, she feels deeply connected to the community. As a newlywed, she looks forward to building a bright future for her family in the same village where she has many fond memories.

Since the 2010 earthquake, Sacionne has lived in a temporary house made of tin. During the summer, the temperature in the tin house is unbearable and this causes her to suffer from severe headaches. She has to seek relief outside in the shade of a tree. The rainy season brings leaks and flooding that damages everything she owns.

Sacionne would love to start her new life and family in a home that provides shelter from the harsh weather. Together we can help the Senatus family start off their life with safety and security!
